- Hello, my name is Laura. There are various blogs and sites attached to this profile. The original purpose of this journal was to offer support, humor and comfort to those people suffering from Osteoarthritis and other conditions. In 2004 I published a Journal book through iUniverse sharing my experience dealing with this disease.One purpose of this journal is to help support others that find themselves in pain everyday, and for those who face knee replacement surgery. We now have a section on TableTop Gardens, which is a nice addition for an activity you can do while in a wheelchair, or if you can no longer garden in the ground. I hope you enjoy the information. Also we have a Wiki for the Beginning Mindfulness Class I am doing in the community, feel free to contribute.
